Richard Cox
Wooden Flute Maker

Richard lives in London, Ontario and has a lifetime's experience in all things woodcraft from cabinet making, woodturning and the making of wooden flutes. His interest in musical instrument making started in the 1970’s at a night class with Irish harp maker Jan Muyllaert in Navan, County Meath, Ireland.

Richard Cox Flutes

He has produced close to 200 flutes from 16 different varieties of hardwood. Each flute is hand-turned, painstakingly prepared with the greatest of care and finished inside and out with a non-toxic combination of linseed oil and natural resins.

For more information on Richard, his workshop, types of flutes and prices check out the Richard Cox website.
