Tom Cussen, banjo player and manufacturer, moved from Limerick to Galway in 1967 and began playing banjo with Shaskeen.
From doing his own repairs Tom decided to start making his own banjos which he did in the early 80s. Tom works with his son Fintan from their work shop in Clarinbridge, County Galway to produce handcrafted banjos customised for their clients tastes.
